Why Revalidate? Overview of the Process.

What does this involve? Similar to a retag, a typical LDAR revalidation often starts with P&ID highlighting to determine regulatory applicability and build the backbone for field work. During the field phase of the project, field crews do a complete walk-down and verification of inventoried components against the highlighted P&IDs, hanging tags and documenting equipment which needs to be added to the program and validating database information for components which are already documented in the LDAR database.

Because field flagging and tagging are not required, LDAR revalidations can often be completed for a fraction of the price of a retag. And because Ei Projects utilizes completely electronic data collection and robust data tracking tools, we are able to ensure every component in your program is validated, maximizing compliance.

Intelligent P&ID Revalidation

Deliver industry-leading electronic P&IDs annotated with LDAR tag numbers and stream names with intelligent P&IDs. And since 80% of the information documented with each LDAR component is hard-coded into the P&ID, intelligent P&IDs deliver the most efficient and integrated revalidation approach. Better yet - the intelligent P&IDs generated during a project can be used to generate future LDAR P&ID highlight updates for a fraction of the cost.

Standard P&ID Driven Revalidation

Standard P&IDs are "electronicized" to produce searchable P&IDs that are used as the backbone of data collection during the revalidation. Since each and every P&ID component is crossed off - we can verify that every component has been re-validated.

We break QA/QC into two parts, foremost quality control to maximize data quality, and quality assurance to validate and review collected data:

Quality Control The tools our team uses are built around quality control: we program the project-specific documentation SOP into custom software checks and balances that either prevents bad data from being collected, or warns the technician if potentially incorrect data is attempting to be collected. 

Quality Assurance - All data that we collect is thoroughly analyzed by our industry-leading software tools and our team of experts to maximize compliance and consistency after the project. When we use intelligent P&IDs, we ensure every LDAR-applicable component on the P&ID has been documented - an unprecedented level of quality assurance.
