Ei Webinar - Implementing Low-Emission (Low-E) Valves and Packing: Why. How. Resources to Help.

Links to the presentation and recording of the webinar are included at the end of this post.

As we learned on our last webinar, Low-E is at the forefront of EPA enforcement - and the overwhelming number of questions we’ve received on the topic show that it’s still a “pain point” for many in industry. In addition to implementing CD ELP-mandated Low-E programs, many facilities are beginning to proactively implement Low-E in order to reduce their emissions, mitigate their LDAR enforcement risk, and to reduce maintenance costs. When it comes to Implementing Low-E, Ei has the knowledge and experience to help, and starting with the recent webinar, we’re releasing resources to help (more below)!

On this webinar, we discussed the following:

  • Low-E Valves and Packing Test Methods
  • Low-E Compliance Certifications and Commercial Unavailability
  • General Guidelines and Steps to Implement Low-E
  • Tracking Low-E Implementation and/or Compliance
  • How to address common Low-E challenges (Common Pitfalls)

During the webinar, Ei shared important resources that help in implementing Low-E, including access to our new public Low-E Database of manufacturers, valve types, and Low-E valve certifications. We believe industry needs a platform to connect different manufacturers with those who need to implement Low-E - which is what we’re building this database to become. Through our integrated search tool, you can easily filter through hundreds of records to obtain information about the different types of valves a manufacturer has to offer, including their certification.
