Ei's LDAR Intelligence

Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) compliance hinges on communication and program management in the face of perpetual change. The foundation for a successful and compliant LDAR Program is an accurate set of P&IDs and a functional, regulatory-driven LDAR database. As chemical manufacturing process changes occur, however, so do compliance requirements.

Our experience has indicated that the energy industry chooses to rely on paper-based processes and out-of-the box software solutions to manage LDAR applicability and compliance. This is why we have developed the Ei LDAR Module – to assist with managing compliance changes resulting from process design modifications and ever-changing regulations.

The Ei LDAR Compliance Module generates real-time LDAR applicability determinations by intercommunicating between engineering software and stream speciation datasets. With this technology, it is possible to generate real-time drawings that are color-coded for LDAR, as well as, a host of reports and queries to assist with LDAR program management and compliance. Ei's LDAR Module has additionally been designed to integrate with LDAR databases (i.e., GuideWare™, LeakDAS, LEADERs, etc). This functionality makes it possible to characterize LDAR applicability of components when they are added and/or deleted to the program at the time the intelligent P&ID is updated. 

This tool also allows the user to quickly and efficiently access data at a single source in the event of a regulatory audit.  The ability to perform these tasks with Ei's LDAR Module saves time, money, and worries over non-compliance.
